AUTOMATIC SHEET FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To offer an automatic sheet feeding device in which the change of an emitted light quantity in the light emitting body of a density detecting means is made small so as to stably detect density and to prolong the life of the light emitting body. CONSTITUTION:The density detecting means 17 is actuated by every detection signal by a sheet detecting sensor means S2. Therefore, the change of the emitted light quantity caused by the change of the internal resistance of the light emitting body which occurs because of the temperature rise of the light emitting body is made small, so that the density is stably detected and the life of the light emitting body is prolonged.
