<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an unnecessary vibration due to influence of a bulge by controlling an electromechanical converter according to a signal which detects a contact force of a magnetic head with a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A bulge chip 31 is mounted on a bulge laminated element 30 through a bulge chip mounting member 33, and the element 30 is supported fixedly to a bulge mounting base 32. The base 32 is so mounted at a cylinder 1 that an end of the chip 31 protrudes at a predetermined amount from the outer periphery of the stationary cylinder 1. In the element 30, two piezoelectric plates 34, 35 are so laminated through an intermediate element 36 that directions of polarities of the plates 34, 35 are reverse. When a voltage is applied to the plates 34, 35, the element 30 is bent and deformed. A rotary head device composed in this manner, detects a contact force of a magnetic head with a magnetic tape by a contact measuring circuit. The element 30 is driven and controlled by a bulge controller 37 in response to its detection signal. Thus, an unnecessary vibration is suppressed, and a jitter and a head hitting sound can be reduced.</p> |
