PURPOSE:To easily recognize the normal connection of a polar capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is normally applied to a polar capacitor circuit 2 as shown in figure (a), a current does not flow in a diode 22, and a capacitor 21 normally achieves the function of voltage compensation. When an inverse voltage is applied to the polar capacitor circuit 2 as shown in figure (b), a current flows through the diode 22, and the circuit turns to a shorted state. Since an excessive current flows in the diode 22 when the circuit turns to the shorted state, a fuse 23 is blown out. By confirming the fuse 23 at this time, it can be recognized whether the polar capacitor circuit 2 is normally connected. |
