PURPOSE:To prevent the air leak from a seamed air bag body peripheral part. CONSTITUTION:An air bag body 3 is formed by seaming a pair of disk sheets 10, 11 in their peripheral parts, and a peripheral seaming part is formed at the butt edges 10a, 11a of both the sheets 10, 11 turned up inside. A heat- resisting tape 17 is put to cover both the butt edges 10a, 11a and straddle over the sheet surfaces, and the heat-resisting tape 17 is superposed and seamed on the sheet surfaces of both the disk sheets to enclose the peripheral seaming part of the air bag body 3. Even if the sheets are extended to open the seams at the time of expanding and extending the air bag body 3, the heat-resisting tape 17 is closely adhered to the sheet surfaces, and a sudden air leak is arrested. |
