PURPOSE:To allow the stable recovering of the liquid fatigued by washing without generating foreign matter over a relatively long period of time by providing a 1st filter means and 2nd filter means in a filter means. CONSTITUTION:The liquid fatigued by washing in an automatic developing machine 1 is sent to a prescribed liquid level height to a flocculating chamber 3 by the operation of a pump 2 and an oxidizing agent is added from an oxidizing agent tank 5 thereto. Two kinds of filter aids are then added respectively in prescribed amts. into the flocculating chamber 3 from filter aid containers 10, 12. Further, a neutralizing agent is added to the chamber from a neutralizing agent tank 7 by controlling the operation of a pump 8 in so as to attain a prescribed pH range by a control mechanism 16. The liquid fatigued by washing is sent by a pump 18 to a centrifugal filter machine 20 which is a fist filter means by a pump 18 and is centrifugally filtered by an inside chamber 21 having a perforated cylindrical wall and a filter cloth 22 mounted therein to a filtrate and residues. This filtrate is then sent to a cartridge filter 23 which is the 2nd filter means by a pump 24 and is filtered. The filtrate is sent to a washing water tank and is reused as washing water.
