BORING MACHINE FOR TUNNEL

PURPOSE:To make it possible to change easily an angle of inclination of a cutter drum against a machine body. CONSTITUTION:A tunnel boring machine A is constituted of a main frame 20 forming a device body, a cutter drum 10 borne on the main frame 20 in a freely inclinable manner and provided with a circular cutter surface in the front of an excavating direction and an inclining cylinder 26 expanding the cutter drum against the device body. The cutter drum 10 is inclined to a free angle in the direction of excavation with expansion of the inclining cylinder 26, and a tunnel is excavated in a required oval shape.
