PURPOSE:To form the homogeneous silicone foam having good appearance by specifying the viscosities possessed by the respective mixing components of a liquid silicone compsn. which expands and cures and the gelatinization time thereof to specific values, mixing the respective mixing components of the above-mentioned compsn. under collision against each other in a spray gun, spraying and discharging the mixture, and allowing the mixture to expand and cure. CONSTITUTION:The viscosities at 25 deg. possessed by the respective mixing components of the liquid silicone compsn. which is expanded and cured by mixing at least the two mixing component are respectively specified to <=2000cps and the gelatinization time at 25 deg.C of the mixed liquid silicone compsn. is specified to <=60sec. The respective mixing components of the liquid silicone compsn. are mixed under collision against each other within the spray gun A. This mixture is sprayed and discharged from the gun, by which the mixture is expanded and cured. Consequently, the homogeneous silicone foam having the good appearance is formed by the spray system which is heretofore not attempted. In addition, the formation of the silicone foam on the surface of differently shaped bodies to a uniform thickness is possible. |
