` Fl/Br OTT9103DE 8 5 1992 The present invention relates to a sanitary cell comprising a) a sanitary chamber (1) which is accessible by a door and which has a toilet bowl (5), and b) a wall (3) rotating about a swiveling axis (2), which wall separates the sanitary chamber (1) from a technical equipment chamber (4) in which the appliances necessary for cleaning the toilet bowls (5, 6) are accomodated, and which supports one toilet bowl (5, 6) each arranged on both sides thereof c) at least two technical equipment chambers (4, 9), one technical equipment chamber (4) being arranged at the side of the sanitary chamber (1) and a further technical equipment chamber (9) is disposed below the floor (10) of the sanitary chamber (1), d) the swivelling axis (2) being arranged horizontally, e) the toilet bowls (5, 6) being arranged such that the bowl (6) positioned in the technical equipment chamber (4) points downwardly with its opening (11) and the bowl (5) positioned in the sanitary chamber (l) points upwardly with its opening, and f) the floors of the sanitary chamber (1) and the technical equipment chamber (4) are provided with openings (13) at least in the area below the toilet bowl (5, 6) so that the toilet bowls (5, 6) can be pivoted from the technical equipment chamber (4) through the technical equipment chamber (9) below the sanitary cell into the sanitary chamber (1).
