PURPOSE:To obtain the multiplex optical recording medium having excellent thermal stability and stability with lapse of time by using specific dyes for the LB films of recording layers. CONSTITUTION:The dyes expressed by formula I are used as the LB films of the recording layers laminated in >=2 layers on a substrate. In the formula, R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4> denote <=8C alkyl group, alkinyl group, alkenyl group, aryl group which may have a substituent, which may be the same as or different from each other. Y denotes a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom bonded with a hydrogen atom; Z denotes an atom group for forming an arom. ring which may have a substituent. L denotes a trivalent group generated by combining 3, 5, 7 pieces of methine groups which may have a substituent by conjugated double bonds; X<-> denotes anion. |
