PURPOSE:To provide the high-voltage power source circuit for image forming devices which supplies electric powers for generating AC biases and generating DC biases from one piece of converter transformer, is high in the rising and falling speeds of the DC biases and allows the taking of a DC high voltage from the converter transformer even when an AC output is not generated. CONSTITUTION:This circuit has a control means 1 for executing the control of the high-frequency converter transformer T1 for boosting and the on-off control of an electronic switch Q2 for discharge provided in an AC bias generating circuit AG branching the high-frequency converter transformer output and a DC bias generating circuit DG which branches and rectifies the high-frequency converter transformer output and forms the prescribed DC voltage. The AC voltage is generated by repetitively executing the driving and stopping control of the high-frequency converter transformer by the control means and the on-off control of the electronic switch and is coupled to the DC voltage by a diode clamping circuit CLM.
