<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the result of more excellent banding in a recording device having a banding machine as a post-treatment equipment. CONSTITUTION:A banding device 2 banding a recording paper bundle with a beltlike article is installed to a discharging section discharging recording paper 9, on which an image is formed, outside a machine. The banding device 2 has a roller pair 28, 29 delivering a tape 30 as the beltlike article in a loop shape by forward rotation and pulling in the tape 30 by reverse rotation and clamping and banding the tape to the bundle of recording paper 9, a clamping- force means 41 varying driving force on the roller 28 side when the roller pair 28, 29 is rotated reversely and driven is provided, and the bundle is banded by the optimum clamping force in response to the status of banding, thus obtaining an optimum banded article, in which recording paper 9 is not slipped off from the bundle and the recording paper 9 is not bent.</p> |
