PURPOSE:To ensure that an image constituent material such as toner does not cause the generation of an uneven surface on a surface where an image appears normally by performing a raster conversion of an image from a reverse direction to a direction in which a raster conversion of an image during a normal image output takes place, in a horizontal scan direction and the mirror image of an image obtained during a normal image output is visualized. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 and a light-receiving element 2, both for detecting whether a sheet leaf is a transparent film are arranged at a position opposite to each other across a sheet transport path 13 between a sheet supply roller 8 and an image recording part 3. The light-receiving element 2 is electrically connected to a controller 7, and these components determine whether the sheet leaf is a transparent film based on a signal from the light-receiving element 2. A raster conversion part 5 is electrically connected to the controller 7 and receives a determination signal from the controller 7. Further, the raster conversion part 5 sends image data in memory to a light modulation scan part 4 as raster data, and the light modulation scan part 4 outputs an image to the image recording part 3. |
