PURPOSE:To provide a servo motor driving system which can drive servo motors having different rated outputs by a single servo amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A CPU of a positioning controller 14 reads control information corresponding to a rated output input from a ROM through a switching circuit based on information of the rated output of a servo motor 11, to be input from a teaching unit 12, and outputs it to a servo amplifier 16. The amplifier 16 which inputs the control information, controls the motor 11 according to the control information. In this case, when information specifying a motor 11 having different rated output, is input from the unit 12, the CPU reads control information corresponding to the altered rated output from the ROM, and outputs it to the amplifier 16. Thus, a servo motor driving system 10 can drive the motor 11 having different rated output. |
