PURPOSE:To facilitate performance by generating a musical sound at timing suitable for playing operation by an electronic musical instrument which detects key-ON and key-OFF states entered by bending the fingers of gloves for performance and generates or mutes the musical sound. CONSTITUTION:Signals from bending sensors 10 of the gloves 1 and 2 for performance are converted by an A/D converter 3 into digital data, which are processed by a control part 4. The stopping of the fingers is detected according to speed information calculated from music data to decide the key-ON state, thereby generating the musical sound. The maximum depth of bending data on the finger in the key-ON state is detected and the key-OFF state is decided by using a threshold value following the maximum depth to generate the musical sound. |
