PURPOSE:To output a high quality character by a method wherein algorithm for development of a font is used by following a basic sampling point if the size of a specified character is less than a specific size, and an interpolating sampling point is used for development between basic sampling points if it is the specific size or over. CONSTITUTION:A character size identification routine is actuated, and an outline font data of a character to be developed is loaded. Where it is less than a threshold N point, a bit map font generation routine is actuated, and a bit map font containing no interpolating data is developed in a font developing memory. Where it is larger than the threshold N point the bit map font generation routine is actuated, and a bit map font containing interpolating data is developed in the font developing memory. |
