PURPOSE:To provide an AE sound scope capable of identifying generation of acoustic emission caused by cracks, dislocation and transformation of a solid material easily in a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:AE detecting signals outputted from an AE sensor 1 are amplified by means of a pre-amplifier 2, and these amplified outputs are supplied to a peak detector 3 so as to keep a peak hold condition for a prescribed time. These peak hold outputs are converted into audible frequency corresponding to its voltage level by means of a V/F converter 4, and by supplying this 'to a loudspeaker 6 after amplifying by means of an audio amplifier 5, an audible sound corresponding to AE is announced from the loudspeaker 6. |
