PURPOSE:To provide the machine translating system which can display more interpretations with regard to a specific part of a translation sentence, and whose operability is improved. CONSTITUTION:When a different translation processing is designated to the machine translating device from an input part 1, and the part of a sentence which becomes a processing object of a different translation is designated, an editing control part 4 generates again a translation of only the designated part. The translation whose designated part only is generated again is displayed on a display part 11, and based thereon, a user selects an appropriate translation by the input part 1. When the translation is selected, the part concerned of a translation storage part is corrected. |
