PURPOSE:To set automatically the specifications of a sorter by reading the sorter ID information when the power switch is turned on, and judging the kind of the sorter. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a means 1 to request the specifications of a sorter to an image recording device controller after checking is made on the connection of a user interface(UI) to the respective controllers of the image recording device (IOT), and a means 2 to read the kind of the sorter according to the requirements of the sorter specifications through the communication, and a constitution is made so that the sorter specifications to be read may be automatically set by a setting means 3. Detections of the sorter specifications are realized on the availability of a sorter through the wire connection, and on the kind of the sorter through the communication. When the sorter is fitted, its kind is identified from the sorter ID information to be read, and the machine (M/C) control is executed. |
