An arrangement, which combines with an illumination system, promotes light design in a miniature model. It facilites light programming in the miniature model, clarifies the light design for the work group and represents a versatile teaching aid for training in light design. Light is guided from a light source 13 by means of light optics 16 to an arrangement to illuminate the miniature model. The amount of light and quality in the light optics 16 are controlled with liquid crystals 14. By means of mixers 12 which are attached with magnets, and adjustable lenses 1 the light is controlled to a scale so that the light can be studied in miniature models. The arrangement includes an alignment mechanism 10 that facilitates establishment and regulation of the arrangement. <IMAGE>
