PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of a belt conveyor device and enhance the recovery efficiency of non-magnetic metal waste materials by suspending a flexible membrane member between the waste unloading end of the belt and the inner wall part opposite a casing. CONSTITUTION:The waste aluminum (m) caught in the ordinary refuse such as waste papers is collected into a waste aluminum recovering space F moving along a path (c). There is a case where the waste aluminum (m) is flown apart along a path Q' due to the interaction of the magnetic flux produced by the excess current flowing through the waste aluminum (m) and that of a rotary magnet 43. During this flying, the waste aluminum collides with a membrane 132, which is then deflected as shown by broken lines. In doing so, the horizontal speed component of the waste aluminum (m) is decreased and the waste aluminum falls off approximately along the surface of the membrane member 132 and into a receiving chamber F. And no collision noise is produced as in the conventional case. In addition to the waste aluminum, the non-magnetic metal such as copper and brass can also be separated for collection. |
