PURPOSE:To reduce the usage of a catalyst and, in its turn, to effectively use the catalyst without lowering the function of a catalyst layer in a deodorizing body wherein the catalyst layer is provided to the surface of an adsorbent solid. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing body 27 is constituted by providing a catalyst layer 31 composed of a noble metal such as platinum to an adsorbent solid 30 prepared by solidifying an adsorbent. No catalyst layer 31 is formed to the upper surface 30a coming into contact with a heat insulating material 29 but almost not coming into contact with air of the adsorbent solid 30. Therefore, the catalyst layer 31 contributes to deodorizing in all of parts and there is no wasteful part. |
