PURPOSE:To prevent toner adhering to the image part of a direct printing plate from being disturbed after development is finished. CONSTITUTION:An air knife 134 for sending air to the photosensitive surface of the direct printing plate 14 is arranged on the downstream side of a squeezing roller pair arranged on the downstream side of a developing part, and a drying device 170 for sending hot air to the photosensitive surface of the printing plate is provided on the downstream side of the air knife 134. Since liquid developer adhering to the vicinity of the side end of the plate 14 carried from the squeezing roller pair receives the air sent from the air knife 134 and is prevented from oozing to the photosensitive surface of the plate 14, it is not left as a thick film state on the plate 14. Furthermore, the plate 14 is dried in a short time by the drying device 170, so that disturbance in a toner image are prevented from occurring. |
