<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a particulate collecting and regenerating processing device mounted to the exhaust system of a diesel engine, and reduce the processing temperature required for regenerating processes. CONSTITUTION:Plural exhaust gas circulating holes 3 are drilled to an exhaust gas passage 6, and a metal plate the surfaces of which are processed by oxidation catalysts and a sheathed heater 4 which is in close-contact with the downstream side of the metal plate 2, or located a fixed gap apart from the metal plate, are arranged. Thus, particulates in exhaust gas adhering to the surfaces of the metal plate 2 can be processed to burn out. Further, the surfaces of the metal plate 2 or the surfaces of the sheathed heater 4 are processed by oxidation catalysts, and the processing temperature required for the processing is reduced so as to prolong the life of the sheathed heater 4 itself.</p> |
