The present invention relates to a device permitting back- projection, as well as the direct-view projection of stereoscopic image pairs. This device is characterised in that it includes a closed volume, constituted by an item of furniture, provided, on the one hand, with a drawer (10) which can slide horizontally and constituting a support on which two, left and right, projectors (1 and 2) are fixed, these being placed opposite each other, and, on the other hand, with a vertical wall forming the front face of the item of furniture and including a translucent screen (8), and in that the said item of furniture contains a set of reflective surfaces (3, 4, 5, 6 and 7), ensuring the reflection of the light beams coming from the projectors (1 and 2) toward the screen (8), so as to form on the latter a sharp three-dimensional (relief) image which is centred and correctly positioned. <IMAGE>
