DRUM TRAVERSE TYPED WINDING APPARATUS

In a drum traverse type winding machine, the rotating shaft (4') installed on the bottom of a side frame is extended and a sprocket (11) is attatched to the outer part of the traverse wheel (5) and is engaged with a plain chain (12) installed on the bottom surface (G). And the shaft of a reduction gear is extended and spur gears (15,15') for changing direction of rotation are attatched to the outer part of the frame and are driven by a mechanism of a sprocket and a chain, which connects between both frames. Traverse roller shafts are installed on between both frames and are connected to the chain, so that wire is winded while the traverse roller bundle moves always in opposite direction of the winding machine and the drum.
