Insulated safe hibernation house for bats - has sandwich structure with wood containing concrete and insulating material

The hibernation house has an access opening (4) to the inside (9) which can be closed by a detachable front wall (5). On the inside (9) there is a vertical plate (42) acting as a sleeping place for the bats wherein a hanging device is fixed near the roof. At least part of the container wall is of double structure comprising an inner wall (14) adjoining the inside (9) and a spaced outer wall defining a hollow cavity (10) filled with insulation (19). The inner wall (14) pref. has in the base area an inner base (16) whilst the outer wall has in the base area an outer base (17). The insulation is pref. hydrophobic and water impermeable. USE/ADVANTAGE - A safe dry haven is provided for hibernating bats.
