<p>PURPOSE:To prevent curling of a sheet generated at the time of heating and pressurizing fixation by the use of fixing rollers, to eliminate paper jamming and folding of a sheet caused by the curling or defective stacking of sheets in a sheet ejection part and to improve the reliability and the operability of a device. CONSTITUTION:A cover 30 housing a pair of fixing rollers 27d can be turned with a shaft 30a as its center. A cam mechanism 32 which abuts on the bottom surface 30b of the cover 30 is controlled according to the thickness of a sheet and the cover 30 is turned. Thus, the direction of the passing of the sheet through the fixing rollers 27d is changed according to the thickness of the sheet and the occurrence of curling is prevented.</p> |
