The coupling between a tool head (2) and a tool carrier (1) comprises a coaxial plug formed by a projection (2a) in a corresponding recess (1b) and at least one clamp screw (10) to secure the components together. Each screw extends in axial direction and has a thread (10a, 10b) at both ends, engaging threaded bores (7a, 8a) in the head and carrier respectively. The respective threads are both right-or left-handed, but have different pitches to provide an axial clamping force, when tightened via a bore (5) connecting to a coolant supply duct (3, 4).
