<p>PURPOSE:To control the rotation of a resist roller and to surely align a toner image with a paper even in the case that a stiff transfer paper is fed in, and also to install a braking member in a replaceable unit so that the maintenance of a braking mechanism may be facilitated. CONSTITUTION:As to an image forming device provided with a replaceable image forming unit, the braking member 15 for giving a braking force to at least one of a pair of resist rollers 7 is installed in the image forming unit. The braking member 15 is installed on a position near the resist roller and also on the outer side from the maximum passing width, or near the resist roller and also on the inner side from the maximum passing width, and the roller part on which the braking member 15 is made to abut is made smaller than the resist roller's own diameter, or the braking member is made to abut on the outer circumferential surface of one of a pair of the resist rollers on the inner side from the maximum passing width, and also, a foreign body removing member for removing paper powder and other foreign body sticking on the surface of the roller is installed on the upperstream side of the braking member 15, and the aforesaid braking member and the foreign matter removing member are installed in the replaceable image forming unit.</p> |
