PURPOSE:To improve operability by executing a zooming action even in the action of focusing, etc., which does not end up with a photographing action, such as depressing a release key by one step. CONSTITUTION:This is a zoom system autofocusing camera having plural specified recording trigger steps, and it is constituted by providing a means for performing the zooming action in an action mode which is different from that in the case that the camera is not set at any recording trigger step for an operation for the same zooming operation part, when the camera is set at the specified recording trigger step which does not end up with the recording action out of the plural recording trigger steps. In such a case, as the action mode of the zooming action when the camera is set at the specified recording trigger step, the action mode for changing the focal distance by specified unit quantity corresponding to the operation of each time for the zooming operation part is provided. Therefor not only an appropriate shutter chance is obtained but also the operability of the release key and a zoom key 7 is remarkably improved. |
