PURPOSE:To develop a thermal recording material for label which is excellent in plasticizer resistance, generates little blocking in production, and is high in a PCS value of a thermal recording image in printing a rear surface. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material for label is obtained wherein a thermal recording layer containing a colorless or light color basic dye and a color agent capable of coloring by coming in contact with said dye is provided onto a base material, further a rear surface of the base material is processed by pressure sensitive adhesion, a coating layer having an inorganic and/or organic pigment together with a binder as main components is provided to the rear surface or both surfaces of said base material, a K&N ink absorption quantity of said coating layer is regulated at 5.0-10.0g/m<2>. |
