The valve has a housing (52) enclosing the valve (28) and the electric operating system (29) controlling the position of the valve (28). The housing (52) has connections on opposite sides of the valve (28) respectively coupled to the pressure and the supplied load. The pressure lines (16) are each formed over part of their length as a spark protection gap (17). The spark protection gap is pref. provided by a channel recess (16) in the housing (52) and an insert (15) extending along its longitudinal axis, with an annular gap (17) between them.
