PURPOSE:To form always good images by mixing a toner with a carrier in a prescribed ratio and regulating a spent amount of the carrier of >=0.010% in terms of carbon. CONSTITUTION:The starting developer is a binary developer of a mixture of the toner and the carrier in the prescribed ratio, and the spent amount of the carrier is regulated to >=0.010% in terms of carbon, because fluctuation of a sensor output value is too small to prevent occurrence of image defects, such as poor image density, if the spent amount of the carrier is <0.010%. The starting developer in the prescribed mixing ratio is obtained by mixing the carrier with the toner in a mixer to force the carrier to be spent in the prescribed ratio replenishing the toner. This composition can be applied to various starting developer of the various kinds of known developers. |
