PURPOSE:To thin a magnetic dielectric layer and to improve quality of developed image by restraining a thickness of the magnetic dielectric layer to a fixed value of a distantce between magnetic poles formed on its surface and by carrying out through magnetizing as far as a rear of the magnetic dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric roll wherein a thin ferrite bond magnetic dielectric layer 2 is arranged on a surface of a shaft core 1 and a surface thereof is magnetized to multipole. Here, a thickness B of the magnetic dielectric layer 2 has a thickness B in a range of 50 to 100% of the distance A between magnetic poles formed on its surface. Through magnetization is carried out as far as a rear of the magnetic dielectric layer 2, that is, a boundary between the shaft core 1 and the magnetic dielectric layer 2. Enough magnetic field intensity can be thus generated even in a thin magnetic dielectric layer by using a shaft core as a magnetic and by adjusting a thickness of the magnetic dielectric layer 2 and a distance between magnetic poles. |
