PURPOSE:To obtain the telephone set with line holding function not accepting the arrival of a general phone call at line holding with respect to the telephone set with line holding function. CONSTITUTION:The portable telephone system is provided with a signal detection means 2 sending a relevant detection signal when a line hold signal, an incoming call signal and a bypass line end notice signal entered via a line are detected, a control means 3 and a message transmission means 4. The control means 3 hooks on a handset 11 when receiving the line hold detection signal and disconnects the handset 11, allows the handset 11 to be hooked off automatically when the incoming call detection signal is received. Moreover, the control means connects the handset 11 when receiving the said bypass line end notice detection signal. After the said incoming call detection signal is applied and when the bypass line end notice detection signal is not received, a message representing the bypass line busy state is sent from the said message transmission means 4 to the said handset 11, which is hooked on. |
