PURPOSE:To facilitate sure performance change-over of a lighting load to improve the operability of the device. CONSTITUTION:The power supplied to a performance change-over device A through an operating device B is instantaneously cut-off so that a performance change-over signal is given to lamps L1, L2. When the performance change-over of the lamps L1, L2 is carried out, a switch SW3 is operated. Then, a plurality of pulse generation circuit 4 generate two pulses for a half cycle of a commercial power source V3. A power source instantaneous cut-off circuit 5 simultaneously cuts off twice the commercial power supply V3 corresponding to the pulses. The performance change-over device A detects that the commercial power source Vs is twice simultaneously cut-off within a half cycle of the commercial power source As. Each time an instantabeous cut-off is twice detected, the performance change-over of the lamps L1, L2 is carried out.
