PURPOSE: To overcome the conventional drawbacks in that the non-uniformity of the conventional hose coated with a polyethylene layer and the thickness of the polyethylene layer caused variation in rigidity of the hose, and good adhesion of an elastomer layer to the polyethylene layer cannot obtained. CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene layer 2 is directly coated in at least inner or outer polyethylene layer 2 of an elastomer layer 1 of a hose. The polyethylene to be used has a weight-average molecular weight more than 0.5×10<6> kg/kmol., and a solvent is removed from the layer of polyethylene gel, so as to obtain a polyethylene layer 2.
