CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an automatic level adjusting means 1 automatically adjusting the output level of the density detector, and an image formation inhibiting means 2 inhibiting the action of an image forming process means by the command of a copying commanding means when the output level of the density detector is adjusted by the automatic level adjusting means 1. Therefore, the output level of the density detector can be automatically and accurately adjusted, it is unnecessary that the output signal level of the density detector is manually adjusted, and the load of an operator can be reduced. Further, since the image formation inhibiting means 2 is provided, an image forming action by the misoperation, etc., of the copying commanding means is not executed before the output level of the density detector is completely adjusted, but an adverse effect to a formed image, caused by the underadjustment of the output signal level of the density detector is prevented. |
