PURPOSE:To obtain bright and distinct color images having high whiteness by coating the entire surface transfer material or pale color parts of the images thereof with the toner contg. a fluorescent brightening dye. CONSTITUTION:Fluorescent dyes and pigments which can be incorporated into the toner are of no problems as the fluorescent brightening dye and are more preferably in a liquid or solid form. These dyes or pigments include, for example, dyes of a diaminostilbene disulfonic acid system, and compds. of (alpha,beta-bis(benzoxasoryl)ethylene systems, alkoxynaphthalic acid, N-substd. imido system, thiazole system, benzimidazole system, benzidine system, and imidazolone system. These dyes are used in the amt. ranging 0.1 to 10 pts.wt., more preferably 0.1 to 5 per 100 pts.wt. binder resin. |
