The hinge comprises hinge linked tabs one on the pocket and the other on a vehicle-fitted support. A fastener plate (29) to allocated to the body-fixed tab (28), and spaced parallel to this (28) having mounting (pierced straps) to fix it to the support. The straps are designed to allow the plate (29) to move in two dimensions relative the support (17). The body-sided tab (28) and plate (29) are interconnected by an adjuster used to modify their spacing (29/28). USE/ADVANTAGE - Motor vehicles. Hinge can be adjusted once body side tab has been secured, with glove pocket lid closed to simplify adjustment.
