PURPOSE:To obtain an unsaturated polyester resin composition having improved fluidity resistance of resin during molding of fiber reinforced plastics by closed molding method and excellent appearance of molded article. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester comprising A1: 30-40wt.% unsaturated polyester obtained by reacting (i) 25-100mol%, preferably 57-100mol% tricyclodecenyl maleate and/or tricyclodecenyl fumarate with an acid component composed of (ii) alpha,beta-unsaturated dibasic acid (e.g. maleic anhydride) and (iii) a saturated dibasic acid with a polyfunctional alcohol (e.g. ethylene glycol) and A2: 60-70wt.% unsaturated monomer containing one or more polymerizable double bonds in one molecule is blended with (B) 10-22 pts.wt., preferably 14-18 pts.wt. polyvinyl acetate to give a composition, which is molded by closed molding method. |
