PURPOSE:To provide a battery drawout device for a reach type fork lift, with which a battery can easily be drawn out ahead at the time of repair and which is favorable for maintenance, checking operation, and layout of the device proper. CONSTITUTION:A tray 41 on which a battery is placed is supported slidably by a straddle arm 5, which is a body side member, and is fitted with a body side coupling mechanism 50 to engage and disengage the tray 41 with/from the straddle arm 5, a mast side coupling mechanism 60 to engage and disengage the tray 41 with/from a mast carriage 35 which is a mast side member, and a driving wire 85 installed between these two coupling mechanisms 50, 60 to operate either of them. The fixing/drawout operation for the tray 41 relative to the car body side member is switched, while the battery drawout device for a reach type fork lift is provided, on the basis of motion of an operational lever 63, which changes over the operation of the two coupling mechanisms. |
