A frequency discriminator is provided which comprises a phase shifter (3) for shifting a phase of an IF signal, a multiplier (2) for analogically multiplying the IF signal and the output signal of the phase shifter (3). The resultant signal thus obtained is an differential current. A current mirror circuit (M1-M6) forms a differential current of the differential output of the multiplier (2); an inventer circuit (4) is driven by the differential current thus formed, and a lowpass filter (5) integrates the output signal of the inverter circuit (4).
