PURPOSE: To provide an improved self-drilling anchor which is installable in a wall only by means of a screwdriver. CONSTITUTION: A shank section 10 has at its upper end a head 12 having a diameter larger than that of the shank section 10. The shank section 10 has a root 14, and a spiral threading is wound about the root 14. The anchor has a longitudinal bore threadably to receive a threaded member serving to hold an object against an outer surface of a wall. Integral with the shank section 10 and extending axially therefrom is a drill section 11 having at least one cutting blade 16A and guide blades 17A, B therefor. |
