PURPOSE:To provide the title food of characteristic or variable design in a trimmed state. CONSTITUTION:The objective food can be obtained by coating meat paste extruded from an extruder with a liquid collagen followed by cutting to pieces of specified length, which are then dried and the collagen is heated to effect protein denaturation. The present production method is characterized by the following: for obtaining the objective meat-paste foods of sectional design having linear parts such as flatness and polygon, the delivery port of the nozzle of said extruder is such that the edges corresponding to the above-mentioned linear parts are convexly curved toward the center of said delivery port.
