The present invention is concerned with a finger tilting apparatus for a transfer feeder which is preferably employable for a transfer press or the like industrial machine so as to allow a work holding finger (5) to be tilted relative to a feed bar (1). The apparatus includes an angle defining element (80) for defining an angle of rotation of the shaft portion (5a) of a finger and an angle stopping element (80b) for stopping rotation of the shaft portion of the finger at a rotation angle different from the rotation angle defined by the angle defining element.
