PURPOSE:To shorten a time until a strength is revealed after working and improve the durability by a method wherein the outer layer of the subject cylindrical form for hot contact bonding is made by a thermoplastic and thermosetting material while the inner layer of the same is made by a curing refractory having no plasticity, in the cylindrical form for hot contact bonding for repairing the inner surface of a cylindrical refractory. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical form for contact bonding is constituted of an outer layer 2 and an inner layer 3 while the outer layer 2 is made by a thermoplastic and thermosetting material and the inner layer 3 is made by a curing refractory, divided into two divisions or more and having no plasticity. A gap 4 is provided between the repairing surface of a refractory 1 to be repaired and the outer layer 2 is reamed by a reamer after developing thermoplastic property, then, the curing of the same is finished at the same time when the outer layer 2 is bonded to the repairing surface of the refractory 1 to be repaired. In this case, the inner layer 3 is split and is integrated with the material of the outer layer 2, which has realized the plasticity thereof already. Further, bricks, prominent in durability, can be used for the inner layer 3 and, therefore, the durability of the same will never be reduced even when the inner layer is exposed to a high-temperature atmosphere. |
