<p>PURPOSE:To promote the practical use of a self-heating filter type exhaust gas treatmen system by preventing the extent of required electric power from generating while keeping off any over-rise in filter temperature at the time of regeneration. CONSTITUTION:A conductive, porous self-heating filter 3 catches the particulate being exhausted out of a diesel engine, while an engine control unit 5 as a current-energizing control means and a driver 6 energize this self-heating filter 3 itself, heating this filter 3 up to an ignition temperature of the diesel particulate for incineration. Especially in this invention, a filter resistance value detecting means (low resistor 7 and ECU 5) detects or estimates the filter resistance value, and on the basis of the obtained filter resistance value, the extent of supply power for the filter 3 is controlled, through which any secular change in the resistance value is prevented from being affected to a variation in filter temperature.</p> |
