A device for collecting articles which is provided with: an article charging unit (5) into which a lot of articles smaller in quantity than a target quantity to be collected are charged; a circulating conveyor (2) to convey each lot of articles fed from said charging unit (5); a computing unit (14), after combining at least two lots of articles fed during conveyance of articles by the conveyor belt, judging whether or not a quantity of said combined lots reaches a preset target quantity constituting a unit to be collected; and releasing unit (12) which discharges combined lots of articles judged amounting to the target quantity as a result of combining operation in said computing unit from the conveyor into a packaging unit (13).
