WAVEGUIDE PATH TYPE OPTICAL CONNECTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact fault separating optical connector which has a simple structure and never causes the leakage of light between the terminals. CONSTITUTION:The waveguide paths 28, 29 and 30 are provided. Both paths 28 and 29 are set close to each other so that the light transmitted through the path 28 is connected to the path 29 via a directional connecting part 31. Then the test light is reflected in a groove 33 which is formed at the crossing part between both paths 29 and 30 and also to cross these two paths at a prescribed angle and with the prescribed accuracy. Thus an optical filter 32 has its characteristic to transmit the communication light.
